Our story · 2006–2026
Growing with
our community.
From a family farm to a brand-new home, every chapter has been about one thing: serving you better.
It started on the family farm.
Sherman and Amy Knicely established County Line Materials at their family farm in Augusta County.
Room to grow.
We moved to southern Rockingham for more space to stock metal panels and trims.
A new chapter in lumber.
We added a custom lumber saw and a fully stocked lumber yard, bringing more of what you need together in one place.
Made right here.
A trim brake and metal panel roll-former brought metal manufacturing in-house, setting us apart from other metal panel providers in the Shenandoah Valley. We’re proud to offer our customers 24-hour turnaround service.
Opening the hardware store.
We opened our hardware store, adding everyday essentials for your home and building projects.
Breaking new ground.
We broke ground on our brand-new location, building toward the next chapter of County Line Materials.
A bigger home. The same heart.
We moved to our new location to better serve our customers. Our hardware store tripled in floor space, making room for more of the items you need every day.
Built on quality. Carried by you.
Twenty years of quality materials, superior service, and the best customers. Thank you for being part of our story.
